Hi All, I'm trying to fill in the missing side of my family tree, so I would be interested in any details of descendents or ancestors of William Hickey born 18th jan 1894 in Collon Co.Louth. He married Mary Anne Murphy born 26th Oct 1898 They were married on 4th Aug 1923. William's father was Christopher Hickey and his mother was Mary Gough [Goff]. Mary Anne's father was Peter Murphy and her mother was Mary Woods. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this would help me further the maternal side of my tree,

both records are RC and from the parish of Colllon
the 1894 record looks a good match (except for the spelling) and could include parents names, address etc

Im trying to find out anything about Christopher Hickey (my gt gt grandfater) from collon. I know very little except he was a cattle farmer/trader and he had atleast three children Elizabeth hickey  (also known as lilly/lilian) and william hickey. Apparently, so i'm told, one of this family was killed by the black and tans. Does this ring any bells?
