Gosh Dawn, I'd be trembling in my boots if I had Middx ancestors ... and on my best behaviour  too !

No need to tremble Lydart, don't want people on Middx trying to slip minor indiscretions into their posts in an effort to catch me unawares.

It's one thing happily posting replies to requests, now I've been given a list of things I've got to watch out for  :o

all I can say is watch out Dawn, I may need your help in breaking down my brickwall. ::)

Post away Lizzie, there are many wonderful people on Middx and London with a vast wealth of knowledge and a good nose for 'sniffing out' those in hiding.

Many congratulations to the three of you from me too ;D...... obviously, very well deserved.

Dawn helped me fairly recently and I can't thank her enough, for the time she spent at the LMA, on my behalf.  She supplied me with some wonderful images, of family documents, that I would probably never have seen otherwise ;)

Well done!!

Dawn

I am being very serious when I say that it would be VERY helpful if the list of things which new Moderators are told they have to watch out for were publicly posted here on RootsChat.

My congratulations to all of you - well deserved!  (Does anyone deserve this role??  ??? )

I'll add my vote to those of JAP and Tephra - it WOULD be very helpful to find what moderators have to watch out for, it feels a bit like a secret society sometimes!  I am a moderator of an admittedly smaller Internet group, and I have told them all what I watch out for - no secrets in our group, and it works well!  So let's hear it, Rootschat mods!
