Well as you know, we're a modest lot!  We like to let people slip into their new roles gently.  :)

It was tricky because the three new Mods are in different time zones - it would have meant posting the welcome message on the boards before they knew themselves that they had been Mod-ified.  :o

And part of the fun is seeing how long it takes Rootschatters to spot the change - hours in this case, lol!

Needless to say, they've been welcomed personally by us all.

Its good to put a face to the person, even as in AR's case, its not her !   I always imagine AR with that hat and lovely smile !

Thank you for your congratulations.

For those of you who haven't met me yet, you'll find me as on moderator and London Metropolitan Archives / City of Westminster Archives looker-upper on the Middlesex boards but I also do look-ups for the London boards too.

For those of you who do venture onto the Middlesex boards, I'm hoping that everyone will carry on being on their best behaviour.

Thank you everyone, also congratulations to Dawn and Karen. As Arranroots said the other mods have already welcomed us and assured us of their support as we find our way around this new role.
