Bradbury
« on: Thursday 25 September 08 21:46 BST (UK) »
I have a Frank Bradbury c1895 married to Muriel also c1895.  I know they had children and one of those children was Muriel Ada Bradbury 1929 who married Ernest William Gilbert c 1921 who are my husbands parents.  Muriel Ada and Ernest William's families lived next door to each other in Burnage Manchester.  Apart from that we have nothing to go on.  Only what is on the gravestone I'm afraid.  So if anyone has any clues we'd be very grateful.

Thanks
Anne-Marie

Looking at that 1929 birth in the indexes it gives a MMN of Blomfield and the birth was in Romford (essex).

The Marriage appears to have been in 1926, but the names don't add up?

That's amazing Pauline.  With the second link I think you may have something.   Muriel Ada was born 18th September 1929 so I guess the birth could easily have been register in October.  So her Mum may have been Muriel Shaw.

Thanks Pauline

Well I think I've traced Muriel Shaw's parents to George Henry Shaw married to Ada Elizbeth ???:-\

And remarkable my hubbies memory has started to kick in 'cos the name Shaw 'rings a bell' and once I mentione Hulme, Manchester that too rang another bell.  ::)  If I find anything else out he won't be able to sleep tonight for bells ringing  ;D
