Hi Adam, Thankyou for the inscription for Brown.  I don't know at this stage if  this Brown is connected to my family.
My Brown was married at Brancepth in 1790.
Thankyou.
Regards.    Linda.

Hello Linda. Here are the two inscriptions for Bird at Brancepeth.

In memory of ???Oh Weatherell, late of Brancepeth, East Parks, who departed this life December/3/1824 aged 62 years.
Also Mary Jane Weatherell, daughter of the above, who died January/18/1831 aged 30 years.
Also Robert Weatherell, son of the above who died October/6/1842? aged 35 years?
In memory of Margaret Bird, who died December/19/1885? aged 71 years.
Also William Bird, who died March/24/1874? aged 84 years.

The above gravestone is in a poor condition and the dates should be  treat with caution. I am sure that if they are your family you will be able to confirm the dates.

This next one is nice and clear. :-

In affectionate remembrance of Mary the beloved wife of William Bird of Brancepeth, who died April/29/1887 aged 55 years.
Also William Bird, wife of the above,  born August/30/1832 aged 55 years and died June/27/1905.

Hi Adam

Thanks many. They are my family and the dates help greatly. Recently got to the north east for the first time and really enjoyed the short time I spent there. Planning a longer stay this year.

Thanks Linda

Hello Cilla. Yes it could be because the 3 and the 8 are very similar. If you have it as 8 then take it as being correct.
(shutting down now because I am going to watch the USA and Canada ice hockey:)))))

I think I have the MI of John ORD d.1822 and Margaret ORD d.1823 buried at Brancepeth but I'd like to check that they are accurate. I can't find a will for either of them but an old fanily tree indicates that their eight children were Wards of Chancery.  Could I have the names of any other ORDs buried at Brancepeth, please?
