Thanks for your replies.

I'm actually from Co. Wexford so I figured that it was Forth Commons.  Thanks for that though.

The birth dates I have were actually taken from actual records.  Why might there be a difference in the dates?  Human error?

I think I really need to visit Wexford Library!

Thanks guys.

What are the sources of the birthdates you posted? birth certificates? baptismal records? other?

My brother got them from Church records.  All but 2 were christened on day of birth -  Peter and James were christened the day after.  I just double checked that with him.

I guess the dates online are typo's as my dates were taken from the primary source by someone with qualifications in genealogy/Archaeology/Irish history.

Never underestimate the extent of human error. The midwife who reported my grandfather's date of birth got it wrong!

He went through life celebrating his birthday on a different date to the one shown on his Birth Cert.

It's what makes genealogy fun!

Without checking the birth certificates it's hard to be 100% certain but it it far more likely that the church records are incorrect. If the children were baptised at home the baptismal entries might not have been written for a while (clergymen often made a note of an event but then waited and wrote up several events at the same time- in old registers you often see events out of chronoligical order as they remembered to write one in).
