Marriage at Sawtry All  Saints 1812
William Bowland of   Spalding Lincs=Ann Dolby.
The registers  for these two  Sawtry Parishes, are held
at Huntingdon Archives/Library.
I think these need to be checked, for Bapts/Marriages/Burials.
Margaret.

Hi Margaret,

Sorry I did not say thank you for your help, I did not know you spent so much time at the Records Office.

I know all the relations from William Bowland tracing back my family history.  It was only when we came to live in Sawtry that we found out from a second cousin in Canada we were back to our roots.  Very surprised that a cockney came from rural stock.

Traced back to William Bowland married Anne Dolby to my Mother then Granma who was a Faulkner. One of WB daughters married a John Faukner of Stilton, a butcher.

I am trying to find out if there are any ancestors of the Bowlands  or Faulkners still around.

Once again Thanks for your help.

Charles
