Lost Marriage - James WINTERS - Completed
« on: Monday 22 September 08 18:59 BST (UK) »
Hello there

I am trying to find the marriage of a James Winters to a Mary ??? sometime before about 1806.

They started having children in Buntingford and baptised in Layston in Oct 1805.

If anyone has access to the registers or any index I would be grateful for any information.

Many thanks in advance

Ashley

From the Online Marriage Index for Herts-

This is the closest I can see:
James Winters married Ann Warner at Walkern   19 Apr 1804

Walkern is not far from Bunts/Layston so it's a possibility
particularly if her name was "Mary Ann"  :-\

That certainly looks like a possibility.

Many thanks for that!

Hi Angela

No I did not find it I am afraid and the friend I was helping with the tree sadly passed away so the search is over for me.

I think your's sounds like a different family as they are rather later than the one we were seeking

Good luck with your search
