Hi Nanny Jan,
I been told that they may have been travellers,so they might not have been born in Dorset, but did settle down there, mainly in Wareham,Poole.
There is also no birth records for my nan Glady Barnes and her siblings,or any record of her parents marriage, which is strange.
I cant find a birth for Frederick Charles Barnes either, his grave says he was 81 was he died in 1963.this Barnes side of the family is hard to find.

                      Thanks Peter

Finally found my Frederick Charles Barnes  :D He was born as Park but took on my great nan surname Barnes, not sure why, he could not marry her because he was already married to someone else, he had prison records so perhaps he changed his name to get rid of his past.

Main reason for putting this on, is never give up looking, only took me 8 years of searching every so often.  ;)
