 Researching my family and all events happened in Cramond.This is what I have so far.Walter Mason b26/12/1765 married Janet Laing (no birth date)
16/10/1787 at Cramond.They had the following children:Jean b 30/8/1788
James b 4/2/1790 Charles b 10/7/1792 Barbara b 8/5/1793 Elizabeth b 15/6/1795 Ann b 24/11/1796 Robert b19/2/1798 Andrew b 4/3/1800
Walter b 4/10/1805 John b 2/4/1807.Walter Mason b 4/10/1805 married
Ann Anderson b1805 on the 14/8/1834 at Cramond Had the following children:
Walter b 20/4/1833 Charles b 1836 James b1838 William b 1840.Walter b 20/4/1833 married Julia Blair Hutton b 19/11/1834 at Cramond who had the following children Julia b 3/5/1860 Walter b 28/7/1866 William b 31/12/1868
Henry b 23/6/1871 James b 1879.Walter b 28/7/1866 married Janet Kirkpatrick
(no birth date)1/6/1912 at Cramond who had the following children Walter 28/11/1913.My father.Anyone researching same???

Hi Bosun,
               I'm connected to the Mason family on my Maternal  side from Cramond.
I have Walter Mason born 1805 at Muttonhole. (Davidsons Main's)  Christened 15th October, 1805 at Cramond
Parents : Walter Mason and Janet Laing.  I don't have anything more info going further back than stated.

              So it would appear we are on the same trail further to my last post I have got the parents of Walter b26/12 /1765 as Robert Mason father and Barbara Dawson mother and witnesses at the christening 29/12/1765 as Robert and Edward Mason,but the name is actually spelt Masson all dates match what is already posted.No marriage date for parents found.
further search has a Robert Mason b 27/12/1731,christened 20/01/1732 parents John Mason and Margaret Pillans at Cramond.No marriage date for parents found.

               I have three siblings of the John Mason and Margaret Phillans marriage.
James Mason, born 9.81727 at Upper Cramond
John Mason, born 1.5.1729 at Cramond and
Robert Mason, born 27.12.1731 at Cramond.
I don't have a marriage date for this union.
