Are there any Sloans or descendents of Sloans out there?
Anyone know of a Thomas sloan?
A Hugh Sloan? Or an Elizabeth Degnan who married a Sloan?
Any help would be fab?!

Hi there,
I have at least 3 Hugh Sloan's on my tree. The Sloan branch of my tree has always intrigued me. I have had so many leads, but nothing concrete. You wouldn't by chance have a Hamilton Sloan would you?

Martha Sloan was my great grandmother so I have lots on the Sloan family who came from Ireland in the late 1840's. Most settled in West Lothian, G-Grandma went to DUnbar and another sister went to America / Canada.
Marr, Robertson, Phillips, Fain, Sloan, Dairon, Bennett, Hamilton, Wells, Overton, Simpson, Punton/Punton.
