OSBORN(E)  possibly John.
Ridge, Hertfordshire.
Any info. welcome.

I couldn't find any OSBORNS at Ridge in 1841, but I did find a John OSMOND.  The 1841 does not give relationships within families or place of birth and adult ages tend to be rounded to nearest 5.

1841 Census. HO/107/438/23 Folio 7
Safron Green, Ridge.

Name, Age, Occupation, Born in County? Yes/No
OSMOND
John, 72, Labourer, No
Mary, 67, yes

Thanks for the info, I'd almost given up on Mary.  This sounds promising as there were a few ag. labs. in the family somewhere.
