 ;D  ;D

I'm about to join another also. My library has a limited number of licenses for home use, so if they are all used you have to wait. I have found I can join our national library, which also has access, so that will give me 2 chances  :)

I've sent off a request to join our National Library also.  Several kind Rootschatters have told me that they also have the Gale newspapers database and Origins.  Whoopee!! ;D

Hi Ruskie

If you haven't joined the state library - it is available too - and from how it is set up now, I think it will work with a BCC library card as well. I have so much plastic, I do get confused  ::)

Hi Trish and Ruskie,

The National Library lets you access all sorts of licenced databases once you have your card.

I found the easiest way in was via the home page http://www.nla.gov.au/  where they have a "Get A Library Card" link.

Card arrived within a week.  :D  :D
