Most County libraries have an Online Reference Library which includes "The Times" via Thomas Gale free to holders of a library card.

To be fair the freebie lasted longer than any other free offer I've ever had or seen, just not long enough though  :(

Back to the library.  ;D

I'm honestly surprised it lasted this long...I remember quite literally months ago looking at the site for my one name study.
Currently engaging in a one-name study of the Twyman surname.

Golding, Twyman, Kennard, Wales (Kent).
Berks, Challinor (Staffordshire).
Wakely. (Glam & Monmouth).

Hi Dawn

The link below is to a list of online databases available at various London libraries. If you select resource and scroll down to the Times Digital Archive it tells you where its available.

You could see if you are eligible to join any other library.
