Any help to remove creases gratefully accepted
« on: Sunday 14 September 08 04:43 BST (UK) »
This photo is in a bad way! My mother in law requested me to restore it but it is way beyond my meagre capabilities. I would appreciate any attempts to remove some of the awful creases. No need for colour.
I do have a larger file available that I can send to interested restorers if necessary.
Thanks in advance
Jackie

Thank you both for your efforts. They are fantastic.
My Mother in Law will be very pleased.
I will own up to getting help and not take the credit myself. :)
Kind regards
Jackie

One from me.

Did you know that behind the man, you can just see the face of another girl at the back?

Cheers

Thank you Irene and Caz
Both very good and much appreciated.
You really had me puzzled Caz about finding another girl's face but after much scrutiny I it does look like someone is sitting some way behind the group in the paddock.

It doesn't look like much of a place to have a picnic or whatever it was they were doing sitting in the dirt. (perhaps food in the suitcase?)
My mother in law said the photo was of her Mother, Father and sister, taken on on the "Queens Domain" (a reserve for the people to use)  in Hobart, Tasmania...the photo has 1937 written on the back. Curious.
Thanks again
