Williams & Kendrick in Wrexham

I'm attempting to trace the family of George Williams (born in Wrexham, Wales in 1919 - died in Clinton, New York, USA in 1987).  According to his obituary, he was the son of William Williams(?-?)  and Eliza Kendrick (?-?).  I believe they were both born and died in Wales but not sure if they were natives of Wrexham.  George married Joyce Thomas (1921-1993) at St. Catherine Church in Old Colwyn, Wales in 1941 and came to the USA in 1952.  Joyce's mother, Elizabeth (Owen) Thomas followed in 1960.

The only possible Marriage I can find for a William Williams and an Eliza Kendrick on North Wales BMD is at Gwersyllt Holy Trinity in 1895.The GRO equivalent for the Marriage has a reference of January Quarter Wrexham District,Volume 11b Page 288 . The couple are showing as living in Gwersyllt in 1901,Eliza given as born in Summerhill Denbighshire in c 1875 and William showing as born in "Ifield" Flintshire in c 1875.RG13/5222/24/20.Summerhill is an adjoining village to Gwersyllt and Eliza is shown in the 1881 Census as the daughter of a William Kendrick born in c 1837 in Brymbo Denbighshire,and his Wife Eliza given as born in Gwersyllt in c 1840.RG11/5517/114/12.

FreeBMD has George Williams (mothers maiden name Kendrick) as registered March quarter 1920, Wrexham, vol 11b, page 525.

It looks like there are other Williams/Kendrick birth registrations - possible siblings?, recorded after mothers maiden name was registered.  I believe that started about 1915?

Thank you so much for the responses.  My son-in-law asked me to research his mother's family.  She has very little knowledge of her Welsh roots having been only 4 years old when she came to the USA.  My son-in-law would like to give her a "family tree" for Mother's Day next year.

I bow have William Williams and Eliza Kendrick, married 11 March, 1895 in Gwersyllt, Wales but their first child, Herbert, seems to have been born in 1913.  Anyone have any idea that could explain the delay?  That seems like a long time even if we consider miscarriages or child deaths shortly after birth.
