Hi

Done a search of the Llanrhychwyn Burial Registers and have found:

23 May 1846 Alice Morris Cynllwyd Age 73

Can not find anything on William yet.

Hope this helps

Hi Holly

No problem at all. I have checked the MI's for Llanrhychwyn but have found nothing for them up to now. If I can be of any more help just ask. I have the GFHS Burial registers for Trefriw and Llanrhychwyn, and the MI's for Trefriw, Llanrhychwyn, and Ardda.

Haydn - thanks again - I suppose the only other folks I would be looking for in this area would be the children of William Morris and Alice.  I know of only one son; their son Morris Williams married Catherine Evans at Llanrhychwyn May 12, 1826.  Would there be any other information in the marriage record other than the date?  Or, a way to find other siblings?

On another note, Francine has been so kind trying to find the house Cynllwyd - I've found a reference to a B&B that is called Cynllwyd Mawr that is on the shore of Llyn Crafnant.  Could this possibly be the same house?  I've tried to look at the maps and I know it is in the general area, but can't tell if it is in the right spot.

Thanks again!

Hi Holly
There are two houses called Cynllwyd (Mawr, by Crafnant lake and Bach, which is somewhere to the left before you get to the lake). I've looked on google, but can't find it on any map.

Hi Francine and Holly

Just spoken to my Mother, she seems to think that Cynllwyd is the Cafe by the lake. Do not know if this is correct or not. But if it is there are some nice pics of the place on their website at:
