LMA Marriage look-up; St Dunstan's 1793

Hi,

I'm hoping some kind soul going to London Metropolitan Archives could look up a marriage for me.. 

The marriage in question is between John James Guenin and Sarah Lezome on the 22 Sep 1793 at St Dunstan's Stepney (details from IGI). I have been searching for 'Sarah Lezome' for a while and can find no reference to her surname anywhere. I hope to find out who she was, perhaps her name is written differently in the church records? Or (keeping my fingers crossed) maybe her father is mentioned??
I would really appreciate it as going myself isn't an option at the moment.

Hi Dawn,

After rooting around in my files I found a copy of the marriage details I asked you to look up!  I hope you haven't been to LMA yet and spent any time on this, if you have I'm so sorry!

It is rather clear that her name is Lezome, unfortunately... Her husband John Guenin signed, but she put an X mark. This could mean that she didn't know how to spell it.

There's one more avenue to try, the banns from the same church. Would you know if LMA have banns as well as marriages? The banns for this marriage were published on September 23rd and 30th of 1792, the year before they married. Could it be that this record (if it still exists) shows more?? If you haven't looked up the marriage, is there a chance you could swap it for the banns instead, please? I do hope they still exist!

The Banns registers only exist for 1732-1741 and 1794-1799.
