Hi  Anneyone
Could you give us a time frame for Bernard a quick glance on Family Search shows that his name is not too common which could help.

Ooops sorry, yes an approximate date would help.I would assume his birth year to be around about 1860, I have found nothing  about him so far, I know my grandfather (John) was born in Liverpool in 1885 and had 2 younger sisters, their mother was Jane ? On my grandparents marriage cert it states his father as John Andrew (deceased) but I have found absolutely nothing to match up....the best I came up with was Bernard Joseph Curtis who married Jane and had 3 children...the names all match, This was on baptism records.
Thank you so much for your help.
Curtis, MacDougall, Spalding, Fowler, Chisholme, Gibson, Sturrock, Cairy,Fraser

Family Search shows a marriage in Liverpool 1884 for Bernard Joseph Curtis to Jane Wainright

Civil registration of births started in 1864 in Ireland
and the only Joseph Bernard found at the moment is in 1864 in Dublin South to
Christopher Curtis and Eliza Nolan you would need church records for baptisms before this.

What led you to post on Dublin ,have you something else indicating he may be from here
Slightly confused are you looking for John Andrew Curtis or Bernard Joseph.
