Yes it's of great interest for sure. I was unaware he'd been a Surgeon at Bute Hospital, Daliburgh too which was later named Sacred Heart Hospital prior to it's closure.

The John MacLennan I refer to would have be born 1885

His father was an Alexander MacLennan but deceased by your time period I believe.

Sorry, the only John MacLennan, son of Alexander, was born 1871, in Kyle of Lochalsh.

I am looking to see if my son's great grandfather is in this book. 
His name is James Cairns.  He served with KOSB and got the Military Cross twice. I am trying to make a little scrapbook of information ready for a milestone birthday as great granddad died before my son was born.  Thank you in advance for any help.
