Fosseys from Arlesey, Beds, England.

Hello there I am the 2 x great granddaughter of Daniel Fossey and Sarah Knight, who lived in Arlesey, Bedfordshire, England.

My great grandmother was their daughter Emma, and I believe she had family who emigrated to USA.    I am unable to find their youngest daughter Mary Fossey, on any census in UK after 1881, and wonder if she also emigrated, or if anyone could tell me if she married in UK, and what her married name would be.

In any case would like to hear from any of the family.

Hi Mo,  welcome to Rootchat!!   Sorry your post has gone unanswered but a bit of a very small needle in a very large haystack.

I went back and checked out Daniel and Sarah Fossey's UK census history to learn that Mary was b. 1866.

Any idea of the names and other details of who might have immigrated and where they might have lived??

Didn't find a Mary Fossey on a passenger list. 

Is it possible she could have married/died in another location in England other than in Arlesey??  Have you tracked all her siblings?

Sorry can't be of more help but if you have other details on possible US connections please post and will look some more.

Thank you Lissa,  Yes have not left a stone unturned, marriages, whether she went with family to Canada, or America.
Found all the rest of her sibling's marriages etc.
