I dont have much to go on I'm afraid, but i think he lived in St Machar Aberdeen, he may have had a twin sister, but her  name is unknown as yet.

if this is the Coutts family that were bankers,there is a family tree linked to my tribal pages site,it came through my gggrandmothers family,her sister married then her geandaughter married someone descended from this line,they did quite an extensive family tree,

The ScotlandsPeople index of births shows a George Coutts aged 1 in the 1901 census of St Machar, Aberdeen.  I'm afraid I have no credits to look this up.

I sometimes get away when have no credits by putting in surname only and copying the place name exactly,nothing else and it brings all others up in that place,you can useually figure out by birth places and ages then,unless a really common name.
