John Bramwell Grainger
« on: Friday 05 September 08 09:34 BST (UK) »
Has anyone any knowledge or information regarding John Bramwell Grainger born 1903, he was my Great Uncle, my grandfather was William Alfred Grainger.  I know he lived and died in Conset.  This is one part of the family I have no knowledge of and would fill in a few gaps for me.  The family may have had a falling out sometime ago.

Regards
Mags Sanders (nee Grainger)

Thanks a lot Suz.  Could you suggest anywhere I could look to see if they had a family?

Hi Mags

It's a bit tedious but if you trawl through the bmd full index births looking for children named Grainger and pick up any with mother's maiden name Watt and a NE registration district.

Good luck

Hi,

I can give you 1901 details of your Grainger family in Consett if you don't already have them?

Dear Mim

I am more interested in John B Grainger information after 1923 when I know John married Elizabeth Watt.  I have the most of the family history of John's brothers and sisters before then.  Thanks for your help.

Regards
Mags

(Got goosebumps when I found this) This could be your (our) LUCKY DAY! ... I think I have ALL the information you need and will be able to fill in the gaps in your search (you have the info I am missing too!)

I knew we had family somewhere else!

John Bramwell Grainger (Jack) was my Grandfather (named Bramwell after Bramwell Booth (Salvation Army guy)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bramwell_Booth

BTW: We had a "Grandma Watt" who was blind...possibly hard of hearing too.
We have TONS of photo's!

Please get in touch...email link on this page -->http://www.johngrainger.co.uk
Or if you have MSN...link on the left!
