I am seeking the immigration record of Elizabeth Sarah LAUDERDALE MAITLAND? b. aft. 1730 Scotland or perhaps Augusta Co., Virginia, d. abt. 1805 Davidson Co., TN m. Lewis A. GREEN, b. abt. 1724 Scott Co., Virginia, d. Oct 1784.  They were the parents of ten children, including Nancy, Jemima, and Frederick, all born in Virginia.

I am sorry, Audrey, that I cannot answer your question.  I have not done much work in this area. 

I have found the parents of Elizabeth:  John MAITLAND (Of Lauderdale), b. 1690 Thirlestane Castle, Lauder, Scotland, d. 1796 Sumner TN/VA?, m. 1721 Lauder, Scotland Mary Turner LOMBE.  However, John's name is James, according to FamilySearch International Genealogical Index v5.0.

Jerry also lists Charles MAITLAND (Of Lauderdale), m. Elisabeth LAUDER as the parents of John MAITLAND (Of Lauderdale), b. 1656 Thirlestane Castle, d. 30 Aug 1710 Thirlestane Castle, m. bet. 1672 and 1700 Lauder, Scotland Margaret CUNNINGHAM.

Hi Reb,
Mary Turner Lombe did not marry John Maitland although a number of web pages show this marriage.

Mary Turner Lombe was not  born  until 3.10.1732 the daughter of Sir Thomas Lombe she married James Maitland (7th Earl of Lauderdale)  24.4.1749 at Merton, Surrey.

Her only sister Hannah Lombe married Sir Robert Clifton.
