A dash of colour to Kate?
« on: Wednesday 03 September 08 22:35 BST (UK) »
After all your wonderful restores of my two other photographs, I wondered if I could ask for a colour of my great great aunt Kate. I think it is a great photo, so any colour you could add to it would be appreciated.

Many thanks for looking,

Tom

Hi colwoodtom .....Heres my colour interpretation.

If the photo was scanned at a higher resolution say at least 300 DPI a nicer job of the photo could have been achieved.

Here's another colour one from me ... I can't help much with lookups and such, but at least I can try to repay the many favours I've received, this way  ;D
I live in Sydney, Australia, and I'm researching: Powell, Tatham, Dunbar, Dixon, Mackwood, Kinnear, Mitchell, Morgan, Delves, & Anderson

Hi Tom

A quick play from me.

You really do need to rescan it though at 300 ppi do get the best quailty restore.

Cheers
