She certainly did matriach.
She, her husband and two of their children are buried in Eyemouth Cemetery. Also listed on the stone is another son who was killed during WW2.

Husband William died 30th April 1925 aged 45 years
Daughter Agnes Lockie Meek died 18th October 1906 aged 1 year 7 months
Son John died 25th May 1920 aged 1 year 7 months
Son William Alexander Meek killed in action 7th January 1943 aged 27 years
