*Completed*Francis and Elizabeth LAVER: Victoria

Can anyone help me with information about Francis Scott LAVER and his wife Elizabeth Ann LAVER (nee Candy)?

They seem to migrated from England to Victoria around 1884: as far as I can tell they had a daughter Florence in England in 1883, and a son Edward James in Victoria in 1885 (although he wasn't baptised until 1891).

I am keen to find the date of death of Francis (around 1910) and Elizabeth (around 1938). It looks as if they have died in or near Leongatha. There may be a memorial inscription on their tombstone.

Perhaps  the grandparents brought her up as  their own  as was often the case  in  those years

Many thanks indeed. This is exactly the information I was looking for - just to tie up some loose ends in Abraham and Elizabeth Ann Candy's family.

I note that in 1881, Elizabeth Candy was transcribed Elizabeth Canory - I would have been along time looking for that if I hadn't found her with the Laver family!!

I really appreciate all this treaure trove of names and dates.
