I am looking for the descendants of James Stedman and his wife Maria Worsfold: their children were:

JAMES: was born and baptized February 19, 1832 at Ewhurst, Surrey. He died and buried August 25, 1908, aged 77yrs at St Mary the Virgin Churchyard, Holmbury St Mary, Surrey. His wife Charlotte was born C.1838 at Leith Hill, Dorking, Surrey. She died aged 84yrs and was buried May 8, 1922 at St Mary the Virgin Churchyard, Holmbury St Mary

WILLIAM: was born and baptized 1836 at Ewhurst, Surrey

ELIZA: was born and baptized 1837 at Ewhurst, Surrey

GEORGE: was born and baptized 1839 at Ewhurst, Surrey. He married Hannah Dendy, November 11, 1870 at Shere, daughter of David Dendy.  She was born C.1844 at Abinger, Surrey and died in the second quarter of 1880, aged 36yrs. They had children:  Eliza (1871), Mary (1873) Annie (1875).

JOHN: was born and baptized 1841 at Ewhurst, Surrey

MARK: was born 1844 and baptized April 8, 1844 at Ewhurst, Surrey. He married Ellen Jones March 2, 1874 daughter of William Henry Jones, Chapel St, Guildford. She was born C.1849 at Camden Town. Mark and Ellen lived at “Cherry Bank”, Holmbury St Mary, Surrey. Ellen died May 1941 aged 92yrs and was buried May 20, 1941at St Mary the Virgin Churchyard, Holmbury St Mary, Surrey.

ELLEN: was born and baptized 1847 at Ewhurst, Surrey

ALLAN:  was born and baptized 1850. He married Kate and were living at Blacksmith House, Capel, Surrey, at the census of 1881. They were still living at Capel at the censuses of 1891 and 1901. They had children J.A. (1876) George Allan (1878), Kate (1882), E.J. (1883), W.J. (1886) and Albert H. (1889).

Worsfold and Stedman are both Woking and Old Woking names going back hundreds of years. There must be some links to the town, even now and interestingly their fortunes are very very diverse. The Surrey History Centre, based at Woking (Goldsworth Rd) would be a very good reference point for you. Even seeking local trade gazettes for reference.

I believe that Mark Steadman was my Great Grandfather. His daughter Ruth Stedman was my grandmother. She married Ernest Albert John Howe on 27th April 1907 in Paddington. They had 3 children: Harold, James (Mark) and Ernest (Budge). Ernest Albert John Howe died in Cardiff in June 1913. My grandmother then married Edwin John Jenkins born in 1887 in Cardiff. They had 3 children Cyril, Ruth (who died as a child) and Sybil, my mother,
