Do you know if your David born 1853 got married and had a daughter, Martha who married Richard Sharpe?Richard & Martha married 11.11.1893 in Belfast, Gt Victoria St Presbyterian church.
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1893/10612/5866385.pdf. I am trying to find who Martha’s mother was and David’s family. I have searched all Martha’s born between 1872-1881 but have not found one born on the dates we have for Martha’s birth 20th of February 1878 even though marriage certificate would indicate 1873

Not sure if knowing the names of their children would help identify their family but I understand there is a naming protocol. Not sure if anyone ever chose not to follow it.
