Blimey aghadowey, I've found it. I can't believe it, its taken me nearly three years to track this lot down, I never would have been able to find out about them without your help. Thank you so very much.  My theory is that James and Hugh could have been the children of my g.grandfathers first marriage. He was a widower when he married my g.grandmother in 1889. There just has to be a connection somewhere - it is such a coincidence that my grandfather and his brother Robert were both moulders at the foundry in Mountsandel Ave, and also that Hugh was a moulder in a foundry. I think the next thing to do is try to get a birth certificate for Hugh Wilson and see what that produces. Any advice or tips for which direction to go will be gladly received. I will keep you informed about the newspaper clipping. Thanks again. You're a star.

Have sent you a couple of pms in the last hour or so but hope to have more for you tomorrow.
Meanwhile can you post a new request for someone to look up Hugh Wilson-Kathleen Troy 1912 marriage in Ontario in case if lists names of his parents? His father is a James Wilson but need mother's name (hopefully tonight)

Update: father JOHN WILSON

Just wondered looking at marriage clipping again- think the way it's worded it might have come from the Coleraine Chronicle and not a Toronto newspaper.

John Wilson married Elizabeth Dysart (marriage below). Some children listed in IGI:
1. Martha Jane born 16 Nov.1868 Coleraine (submitted)
2. Mary Ann born 2 Jan.1870 Coleraine (submitted)
3. Martha Jane born 17 Aug.1872 Coleraine
4. Alexander born 25 My 1876 Co. Derry
5, John born 20 June 1878 Coleraine

Wonder if Hugh Wilson's brother James D. Wilson was James Dysart Wilson?

Coleraine Chronicle, 18 July 1868: At Terrace Row Presbyterian Church, Coleraine, by the Rev. J. Macdonnell, on the 13th inst., Mr. John Wilson, to Miss Elizabeth Dysart, both of Coleraine.
