« on: Monday 25 August 08 20:32 BST (UK) »

I cannot find his birth or anything else only info I can find is on 1881 census and his marriage to my grgrandmother were he gives fathers name has Thomas and that his father was a builder any pointers greatly appreciated. ???

I notice you posted a request looking for this information on 25 jan 2008 and had been given a link .

You stated yu had emailed them and would let the outcome be known, but you don't seem to have replied???

As you have your GGrandfather's marriage cert  where it states his father's name was Thomas occ Builder , could you give us your GGrandfathers full name and age from the certificate -witnesses names (they may be relatives)???

We can then do a search for you

Hi TYSharon,
I didn't give you the address, it was another Rootschatter, Ijust wondered if the reason for you making a duplicate post was that you had forgotten about your  previous one?

But if you can post the information I have just enquired about, maybe we can see if we can find him on other census -but it is a little difficult without having a name!
