1851 & 1841 Census London Harriett Blackwell
« on: Thursday 27 January 05 16:33 GMT (UK) »
Appreciate if someone could look up Harriett Blackwell in the 1851 (1st priority) and 1841 census.

Harriett Blackwell according to the 1871 census was born "St George, Middlesex" and was 36 at that time. I901 she is listed as being 66 and born "Bloomsbury(?), London". In 1860 at her marriage she is listed as living at
Huntley Street, St. Pancras. She should be 15-16 years old in 1851 and 5-6 years old in 1841.

At Harriett's marriage in 1860 her father is listed as John Blackwell, a coachman. There is also a Elizabeth Blackwell and a John Charles Blackwell. I do not know what relation these people are to Harriett.

I want to know(a) Harriett's birth year and place (b) her parent's names, their ages, and their birthplaces, and (c)other persons (siblings) living in home.

Thanks very much, in advance, for an help you can give.

No Blackwells at Huntley st in 51, sorry!  The named index for 51 hasn`t been fully transcribed yet,so its a bit hit and miss.Don`t despair though, someone may have the FHS list and be able to help.  KenB.

PS.  41 is even worse I`m afraid.

Rick,

You have made a substantial contribution to my family history. I have been searching for John Blackwell and his family since 2000 (off and on) and your information is the breakthru I needed.

I checked and the 1851 data you listed matches other data I had (1871 census and death certificate). Thanks again for your efforts.

Best Regards

birth = 1837 in holborn middlesex

death = 1902 islington london

have most of the latimer tree up to ann and william latimer which on his childrens birth certificates show as lattimore name must have been spelt wrong by some1 at some point so it got watered down to latimer . most born in middlesex.

Sarah,

Any idea where Ann and William were married? Have you been able to find their parents and when Latimers' came to London?

Regards

Brian

RM thanks for that! I have that part of the clue  but if you could find the censors for 1800 for a ann and william lattimore  and their children that is the part everyone is really looking for and stuck on.8)

thanks again for the info though.
