« on: Thursday 21 August 08 17:45 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Can anyone give me any info on THOMAS RAISTRICK born 1819, died in 1860
Lived in Bradford, West Yorkshire, his wife was JANE HOPEWOOD who died in 1894.
I can't find them in 1841 census.

Hi John,

Are you saying you have found them in 1851? If so, where?  :P

I cant see them in 1851 - nor can I see the marriage.

What is the source of the info you have?

I see Thomas's death in 1860 in Bradford
Is Jane's the one indexed as Jane Raisbrick in 1895, in Gainsborough Lincs? (bn approx 1820)

Have you got the certs?

I may be mistaken but I believe that Jane was married to a William on earlier census  ???

Hi,
The info is for a friend in australia.
The info that he sent me was THOMAS RAISTRICK  born in 1851.
His parents were  THOMAS RAISTRICK & JANE HOPEWOOD.
I have checked the 1851 census and found a few but none with Jane as a wife.

Hmmm. The best match for Thomas jr I see is a Thomas born Birkenhead, son of Thomas and Mary. He seems to go on and marry an Ephraim ( ???) and have a son James.

What else do we know about young Thomas?

I only know what I have  said.
I think the one you found is the one I had.
He said Thomas Snr. died in 1860 and Jane died in 1894.
This is all the info we have.
