Still hoping for a Genes Reunited  member to contact me regarding a Rebecca Powell from Chiswick born about 1882.   Information to share.

The member is an Ann Rouse - 58319 if anyone knows of her or can contact her on my behalf I would be grateful.

I know it is disappointing isn't it?  I have seen a couple of messages like mine so I thought I would have a go, especially as I know, in person, the last remaining child of Rebecca, and I knew her myself.

If your membership has expired on Genes, you can't reply to messages.  Try sending it again and giving your email address.

Margaret - I suppose the person you contacted on GR may have been on holiday or similar so perhaps they missed the message :-\   or perhaps it has just slipped his mind, I think I would give it another go.

Another reason why I,ve given up on genes, apart from the hot matches, have now un subscribed.   Come to think of it I have not always had a reply from ancestry tree owners.

Going back to genes, when I had a reply and there was no connection I always replied to thank them for replying.
