Glasgow Meet November 8-9th

Thats OK Dave,
its OK it was late, and my little helper must have been out trudging the streets of Glasgow checking everything out again for the meet

once I have got all the conformations I will be able to give a definite total attending,
 as it stands just now 27, (wonder if Glasgow is ready for us lol,)  but still have to get some conformations,

Of course those who have visited Glasgow already will know that it's up there with the best, but if you are still making up your mind about coming to our rootschatters Glasgow meet, why not get trendy and join us on November 8th/9th

After several "meets" in the german forum, can I add something from practical experience ...

The name badges are good, to link forum names to faces, but for "first contact", i.e. for people looking for a group of people, who might be the right ones, "bigger is better" 

Apart from individual name badges make one with

  RootsChat
Glasgow Meet or something similar,

and print it out at least A5 or even A4.  put it in a plastic envelope with stiff card at the back and display prominently or wave it at people who look like they are not sure if this is the right group....

I'll second that !! I loved it last year...  the Galleryand Museum at Kelvingrove was the best I have ever been to outside the Capital ... you could spend all day there .. I know it wasnt on the itinerary last year but I went on the Sunday and spent the entire day there ! Have FUN everyone as  I think I'll l be unlikely to attend ... Tried running before I could walk really ... lol... I want to see the pics though ..I think  I'll nominate Sybil and Dave to be official photographers...  A guided tour of your adventures would be appreciated ....
