Coroner's inquest March 1883

Can anyone assist me in the following,,,
A copy of a coroners report and/or newspaper article for the death of
Nathaniel Davies.
I have his death certificate which states the following
Where and when died " Found March 10 1883, Railway crossing , Moss lane, Cadishead "
Cause of death " Found dead on Cheshire lines, Committee Railway from injuries received by a Locomotive engine ".
Informant "Certificate received from Fred Price,Coroner for Lancashire.
Inquest held 12 March 1883.
Nathaniel was 29 and a farm laborer at the time of his death.
In 1881 he lived in Cadishead Moss, Cadishead, Lancs,
Any help gratefully received

Hi

If they've survived, the local archives should have a record.

However, as you have an exact date, it is very likely to be reported in the local press.

You could email the local library and see if they will look it up and email you the details or even send a copy.

You might even find a Rootschatter will do a look up.

Often, the newspaper cutting will be just as detailed as the report, or very nearly.

Hi Emms,
Thanks for your responce.
I have e-mailed Cadishead library, but I don't know if they provide a search service..some do some don't...and I've not had a reply as yet.
As for the coroners report , are they available to  the public?
