Ormskirk/Scarisbrick Birth Lookup Please

Hi,

I'm looking for a William Weatherby who was born c1843 in Scarisbrick.  I can't find a birth registration for him anywhere.  In 1851 he is listed as living with his parents John Henry Weatherby and (Mary) Ann Weatherby (nee Lovett) but they didn't marry until 22nd March 1846 in Manchester.

I can find William's siblings birth registrations but not his.  As he was born before the marriage it is possible that his mother wasn't (Mary) Ann but someone else and that's what I'm trying to find out.

Can someone help me please!

It could possibly be.  Never thought to check the maiden name!  Couldn't find a William Lovett on the 1851 census so I think I may order a certificate to see who his mother was.
