I went there a couple of weeks ago and the charge to get into the eastern section was £3.
There is a different charge to get into the western section as it includes a guided tour, as people are not allowed to wander about that part on their own.
Anyone who has visted will be aware of just how much work there is to be done on the site given how much the ground moves, upsetting the graves, etc.
In fact, many visitors are tourists, there just to visit Marx's grave. I shouldn't think you have to pay if one of your close relatives is burried there.
I don't think £3 is that unreasonable in the circumstances.
