This has got to be him on the 1841 census for Burrington - the only entry for that district.  All born in county but relationships nwere not shown in 1841 so I don't know who Jemima was.  The image is very faint but I think William was a carpenter

In 1851 William is shown as aged 20 b BARRINGTON.  Oddly enough his occupation is sawyer and he is in lodgings in Blagdon Somerset

well this has certainly helped me no end with the line i wanted to trace.I"ll go on further with it if i can.
The ironic thing about it is,i"m from London but moved down to Bristol in 99.My missus is from here.

Burrington is about 8 miles away!

the male side of our family around that time and up to my grandad seem to die aged between 39 and 65 :(
