Hello there,
I was wondering if anyone could help me find the records of my GG grandfather I found out today that he died in action during first world war, he was from Oswestry Shropshire (that was where his Wife polly and his Chid called Dorothy Resided - I dont know of any other children) Could someone please tell where I need to go to find out his death etc?

wow thank you. Thatss great, I think that maybe him. I wish I could find his application for his service, they give alot of details about them as people.

He lived in Albert Road, in oswestry. I had the papers for George A Corbett, but it lists his wife and children as totally different to what we know to be correct.

The one that I linked to wasn't the Wellington one. The Wellington one died 1918. the one I found died 1916 - no kin info.
