hi i have just joined and have been reading your comments all really interesting! i am nicole mary prior and my mum was Susannze mary penfold, i think you mentioned some of my family. Her dad was Freddy Penfold born at Gurlings yard my nan and grandad and my great grandad frederick penfold all lived in sheepcote lane- also that was where me and my sister were born i am doing a bit of research and havent got my nans and grandads to ask!! i will keep looking on this site its really good!!
