Rightio, last knock for today.

1841 for Rhoda Smith.
Cholsey Berkshire.

All born in county.
William 45
Hannah 45
Charlotte 15
Lenard 14
William 11
George 9
Ann 6
Rhoda 3 = 1838
                               Unless there are 2 Rhoda Smith's b 1838 in Cholsey...  ::)
Then same Rhoda 1838 b Cholsey Berks IGI batch P021301 gives parents as
William and Caroline.
Would need to look at entry in the vicars baptism book to see if a Caroline /Hannah looks like a Sinfoy......  :-\

Nitey night Cathay, glad you have done so well...  ;D  ;D

Thought i better post up what i know so you dont go looking for the same. I know quite a bit about brinkleys, loveridge is another matter.
1871
Walter Brinklow 26 (he dies in the old school yard tottenham, irenes granny rose smiths yard cathay-another connection with smiths and they were oxfordshire ones too)
Esther lovidge 27
walter 9 (he marries counsey scarrott dau of rhoda smith and theophilus scarrott)
sidney marries leander smith
job marries lavinia lee

1901 census they are at little ilford with loads of other travellers
down as loveridge, walter loveridge, esther etc. Rhoda is there also with her sons Edward and James as Smiths not Brinkleys. Also Patience Cooper (wife of Samuel Cooper, son of Matty) and two of her boys. My grandad not there, but this is where he meets my grandma Ocean and 6 weeks after this census they marry.
1901 Esther Loveridge/Brinkley is at edmonton as Esther Shaw (her mother in laws maiden name) with Jane Penfold and others.
Dont really need help on brinkley. Could i post what i know about loveridge.

Walter Brinkley marries Henrietta Haynes 27/8/1867  St Cuthberts Bedford
Henrietta is also known as Esther Loveridge after her parents marry she uses only the name loveridge. Her parents Caroline Haynes and Levi Valentine Loveridge. They have Esther 1848, Ann 1855 and Joseph Henry 1858 all Bedford. Caroline and Levi marry 1857 St Cuthberts Bedford.
Levi is son of Henry Loveridge and Ann Halford.
Henry and Ann have
Levi Valentine 1825 astwood bucks james 1815
sarah 1877 astwood bucks
zilpha 1820
hammoleketh (female) 1822 turvey beds
lemuel 1810 steppingley beds

A Levi Loveridge born 1825 was transported to Australia aboard the ship Norwood with  two children.  Trial taken place at Bradford.  He was a widower
Loveridge    Levi               6356  groom                 W  two    5' 5 3/4"   light brown    blue         full        fresh     stout           6356  Widower; Star left wrist, mole left side
Loveridge   Levi                6356    6y   37  Bradford                .. .. 1860  Receiving stolen goods  Think this is my Levi with his two children Ann and Joseph Henry as cant find them anywhere in England.

Would like to find out who Henry loveridge parents are. Henry and Ann married 1800 Olney Bucks - other loveridge marry there.
Ann Halfords parents may be James Halford and Martha loveridge
So if anyone can find Henry Loveridge i would be most pleased. Thanks for all your help everyone.
