i got a couple of refs to a rhoda smith dad william.   HO107 1690 f.45 pge 23   and more near d.o.b. Ho107 1783 fol 493  pge 43.

sorry meant to ask, did henry and sarah have any other children there? Rhodas first husband theophilus scarrott came from Ramsden Oxfordshire, Rhodas son william is with a johnny and kesiah smith both born oxfordshire in 1881 census at stoke hammond on the green bucks. These smiths must have something to do with her, just cant find her before her marriage to theophilus in 1862 staines middx. thanks for all your help x

  Real longshot here maybe but the dates for Rhoda and William are very near.

  Have a look as there is a White family on page before and some other Smiths on page after :)

I'll have a look at my CD's later this afternoon, Broughton was a tiny village, not many strangers turned up there, but I'll check round the other local villages that I have.

 am wondering if this mariah smith  who is with thomas beldom might be rhodas  aunt. They have a cinderella, and rhodas daughter counsey has a cinderella who died as baby........

Thanks jaywit, ive just looked on igi and they only have maria there in 1808, it definitely here as the year is just right. I am going back in garden to lay more slabs....so wont be on for a couple of hours, thanks for everyones hard work. I might get to find out who rhoda was!
