Just a thought I had: If the Aaron Rossiter in the Canadian census is the same as the Aaron Rossiter who married in All Saints Bristol in 1828, it seems odd that he and his family were Quakers, since Quakers did not recognise the Anglican Church, and conversion to Quakerism is, I believe, very rare. Having said that, the birth of Canadian census Aaron does not appear in the Quaker registers, so it looks as though his family were not Quakers, and maybe he did convert. I would welcome your thoughts on this.
