Northop baptism help please

Hi,

I am trying to find a Catherine Hughes born in Northop between 1795 and 1810.

If anyone can help with a baptism record for her I'd be really grateful.

Hi Paul,

I'm afraid I don't know much. She married John Crimes, a wheelwright born in Chester about 1811, but I don't have the record of their marriage. On the 1841 census they were living in Crane Bank with their children. John died between 1841 and 1851. Catherine died in 1868 aged about 68.

I have found a record relating to a Catherine Hughes born in Leadbrook Major, Northop in 1803, christened in Northop Church on 6 October 1803, on familysearch.org but I was thinking there might well be other Catherine Hughes born at this time in Northop.

 I found two Catherine Hughes in Northop baptisms 1750-1812.

Born. 8th. Baptised 22nd Feb. 1799. Catherine Hughes. d/o Edward & Mary. Of Golftyn.
Born 6th. Baptised 9th Oct. 1803. Catherine Hughes d/o Thomas & Mary. Leadbrook Major.

Many thanks for looking up that information for me. I was kind of hoping you might only come up with one! With the limited information I have about her I don't think I'll be able to determine which one out of the two is the one I'm looking for. I'll be definitely following these up though - thanks again.

It's not always that easy Charlotte

If you give me what you have of them on the census I can see if there might be a connection through names.
