grandfathers death details

help; can anyone find out my grandfathers death information all i know is he died in the early 1940's. his home address at the time of death was 4 council street llandudno and occupation carpenter-joiner. i live in canada and i am not having much luck finding him as there are too many jones.

I should contact the local register office for Llandudno.  Give them as much detail as you have and ask them to look.  You should be able to find their address on www.genuki.com under the Wales bit.

You have not given a name, which would really help. Is it Ward?

I do know that the local archives does have a burial  index for Llandudno.
