I am hoping that you may be able to help me. I am researching the name Charles Seymour and am wondering if you have any census info available re cd lookup or other resource advice for this person.
I recently received back an English certificate of marriage for Stephen Seymour who married in the Parish Church Wadhurst 1841( doesn't state which church so may be more than one in Wadhurst at time of marriage) to Rebecca Blunt stating his father was Charles(until receiving this certificate always believed it was Samuel re bdm Aust which is obviously wrong I now find as Rebecca's father was Samuel came from Horsmonden)

I found only one Charles Seymour marriage that took place ref IGI to Sophia Dungey 4/11/1806 at Cranbrook.
Stephen and Rebecca are listed in the Sussex Weald 1851 and went on to have 5 children before immigration to Australia. Naomi,Jacob,Ruth,Isaac,and son stephen,birth now confirmed as 1852 and I have now been able to extract the birth certificates for 3 of the five all indicating confirmation of the 1841 marriage of these two.
I would love to find this first Stephen's birth details re his father now known as Charles. All family members came from Sussex / Kent
