Gelligear is not in Pontlottyn. It may have been in the parish then, but not anymore. It is village about 10 miles further down the Valley. There is a Railway Terrace in Fochriw, and this would come under Pontlottyn.
There is also a Railway Terrace in Tirphil and in Brithdir.
However, there is still a small graveyard in Pontlottyn, situated on Farm Road, and I think there might be some stones about 200 yards away, behind Chappel Street. There are also some stones on top of the mountain, to the right of Tirphil, but this is only viable with a 4x4.
Assuming this person lived in Tirphil, Brithdir, Phillipstown or New Tredegar at the time of their death, they could be buried in Brithdir or Bedwellty cemetry. I wouldn't think they were buried in St Davids Church Rhymney, as this is a different parish. However, there are 2 other Cems in Rhymney. These are Carno and The Graig. I think the Graigs headstones have just been bulldozed by an unscrupolous property developer though.
I have probably confused you even more now...
