The one born 1831 seems the closest match  :-\

we have often wondered why she married as smith and not taylor but she did marry as smith.we think it might be to keep up appearances and make peopkle think her 5 smith kids were legitamate!we dont know she never married smith but we can find no record of his death or marriage to her.cause its smiths we fight shy abit.theres so many of them

This must be Rose's marriage in 1916 -

Rose Smith June 1916 Edmonton 3a 1264
A "Joseph Manning" is on the same page

and Annie's?

Annie Smith Dec 1914 Edmonton 3a 1223
Grooms - Joseph Bentley or Henry T W Wallis

and Jane's?

Jane Smith Sept 1905 Brentford 3a 387
Grooms - George Cooper or Arthur Ardron

Trying to trace them on the censuses by guessing their locations/ages from when and where they married, not having much luck though  :-\

lilley balls father was william ball and her mother was eliza(known as betty)cooper and her perants were vanslow cooper and amy smith.amy was born in kent.the coopers here of course are part of the windsor coopersKENT.you know the royal ratcatcher matthias cooper!dont start looking at their tree i have that one.i would like to concentrate on the penfolds kent/london/devon and now maybe the balls if we can find amy ball and athelia ball if they were related to lilley and they of course married penfolds.
