Cathay:

I've found PENFOLD while researching the dreaded LUFF and gave debusa the info.  If she hasn't forwarded to you, please remind her to do so.

Don't recall any more about it, sorry.  Wasn't among the FHC films I went through last weekend....

Good luck!

I see Amos Killick was born 1854 Brighton according to 1881 census, could this be him in tents, enumerated as KELLY, with the Lee families in 1861 -

Amos Kelly 6 nephew Brighton
Amos Lee 58 Cutler Chatham Kent
Susan 64 Kent ....street
Derliges? nephew 14 Apprentice Milton? Nr Gravesend

Other Lees in tents - Alexander and Delayne Lee and family, Alfred and Deborance? Lee and family, Isaac and Lydia Lee (all cutlers and hawkers)

Rochester St Margaret, Kent
RG9/477 Folio 66 Page 30

In 1871 hes with Lees again (William and Derliges/Diogenes), using the Lee surname.
